OOTD: NYFW Edition

Last Saturday, I finally decided it was time to visit the ultimate New York Fashion Week. Special thanks to Kyboe! (check out the post) for inviting me, that gave me the push I needed. I have always thought about going and I have gotten a couple invites (which were usually for shows during the week) that I couldn't honor. I have to confess however that my top reason for skipping the event was my shyness.

Kyboe! at New York Fashion Week

"The bigger, the better" that's Kyboe!'s motto and I absolutely agree. So when Kyboe! invited me to their show at the NYFW and asked me to pick a watch from their collection, I went for the biggest size - the 55mm. Look at that statement piece on my wrist! Best believe my wrist game just got on a whole new level.

Fall Wedding Guest

Happy Midweek my dear friends.
Today, I am sharing a wedding guest inspired look. I recently styled a summer version in which I used brighter colors but Fall is right around the corner so it's time to tone down on the bright outfits.

New Month: Live Right, Live Happy

Happy New Month everyone. It's really crazy how fast this year is going by and some of us are not moving as fast(unfortunately). Well, I am trying to make a change (it's never too late to fix things up).

LinkPartyWithOsy + The Wedding Guest: Pants Edition

Happy Friday and I'm excited to host another LinkPartyWithOsy. Join me below (remember you can share your Instagram posts links as well).
Today, I am sharing a look you can wear as a wedding guest. Choosing an outfit to wear to a wedding can require more effort than we are willing to admit sometimes.

Banquet Ready: Red and Gold

Happy Friday and I just want to say "thank you" to everyone that visited the blog while I was away. I apologize for the unannounced break. It's good to be back and I am going to be working on getting back on track. Check out my post from yesterday about one way to survive summer with kids (here).
Today's post features a look I wore last weekend for my Young Adults and Singles Ministry banquet in Las Vegas. The theme was "Queen Esther's Ball" and while I didn't exactly go all out to create the look, I tried to look as regal as I could.

Summertime is one of my favorite times. In some of my past posts, I shared some of the reasons why. Today I will be focusing on one of those reasons - hosting events and parties (more like mini-hangouts). My most challenging group to host has been the children, they are a delightful handful. I don't have any kids of my own yet but as a lover of kids and a "beloved" children teacher, my home unavoidably becomes a makeshift daycare during the summer when kids are out of school and seem to be most active.
