LBD for my OOTN

I wore this outfit to a little get together at a friend's place. I started off with the little black lace dress because i wanted something simple lol. Well, at the same time, i wanted to put on some bright colors because of the festive mood of this season.
These BCBGeneration booties have become a constant feature in most of my outfits this season. I just love how comfortable and trendy they are.

One red suit, 7 ways. Merry Christmas

It's finals week and I have a big exam tomorrow so I spent last night studying. If you follow me on Instagram, you probably have seen my post about my study partner lol. So during my breaks inbetween studying, i decided to plan my outfit for my after finals Christmas and freedom celebrations. Here is the outcome of my polyvore activity. These are my outfit inspirations for this Christmas celebration for each day of the week. I will be recreating some of these looks next week. Stay tuned.

Please leave a comment to let me know what you think. And you can share your own inspirations with me.

OOTD: Black and Gold

Hello dear, thank you for visiting my blog. Today's post features my Sunday's OOTD. When i woke up this morning, the only thing i had in mind about what i wanted to wear for church was this skirt from Sheinside. To celebrate the season, I decided to add the beautiful red color to the mix so I pulled out this red blazer and blessed my lips with my MaryKay Really Red lipstick

Do you trust Him?

"All to Jesus I surrender,  all to Him I freely give
I will ever love and TRUST Him
In His presence daily live"

Trusting God requires a conscious awareness and belief that He has control over any situation.  Sometimes we find it hard to just let go and let God because we try to see the end from the beginning. There is only one person that has the power to do that and that person is God. If we can constantly remind ourselves that He knows all things, that He knows our names and He wants the best for us, then we will always find it easier to hand over the reins of our existence to Him.
We have to remind ourselves how comforting it is to know that the one and only true God, the all powerful one who has the heart of Kings in His hands and who has the cattle upon a thousand hills cares for us and loves us beyond what we can ever imagine. "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." (John 15 verse 13)
When you find it hard to remember this love, when you feel like He doesn't care anymore just listen to these songs and embrace His presence that is ever with you.
I Trust You - I love this song.
He knows my name
All I need is You
Thank you so much for visiting. I would love to hear from you. Leave a comment,  share with someone and bless tgem.
XOXO, Love Osy :)

OOTD featuring white sandals

It's Tuesday and that means #ShoesDayTeusday. If you follow me on Instagram, you might have noticed that i post shoes pictures most tuesdays. Well so let me show off my latest shoe crush. These babies are so cute and comfortable. I saw these while window shopping on macy.com and i knew i had to get them. Unfortunately for me, i was still shopping around the site when the store sold out of my size-10 (i guess i was not the only one that fell in love with them). I wanteed these so badly so i got the smaller size- 9. My plan was to receive it, see it, hug it then send it back. But... when i tried these after receiving them, they FIT. My reaction was priceless, i could not contain my excitement, well after the initial reaction, i realized it was a little tight but i decided it was nothing i could not handle and now, final thought - I am so glad i kept these.

Casual OOTD: Dark Tones

"A smile is the light in the window of your face that tells people you are at home" -unknown
Wondering how I keep my smile? - Jesus is the center of my joy.

Beautiful Saturday called for a laid back casual look. I was not in the mood for wearing a jacket but I wanted to still keep myself warm so I went for this very thick oversized sweater. This sweater is so warm so I know I will be wearing it a lot in the winter too.

Plaid for Fall : Take 2

For yesterday's Columbus day holiday, i decided to keep it casual since i knew i will be running around. It was an off day for me and so it meant a little study and a lot of window shopping. And since it was not very warm, i decided to add an extra layer to my outfit.

A beautiful fall weather calls for beautiful colors, hence the appearance of cobalt blue in my Sunday outfit. If you read my post about the trends for fall this year, you will remember I mentioned plaid as one of the top features. Click HERE if you missed it.

Shoes Day Tuesday Deal

Helloooooo, it's ShoesDayTuesday and guess who is celebrating it too... Charlotte Russe.
Well, i just had to make this post to share this even though i am on social media time out. I was doing so well with my studying and schedule for the day when i decided to check my email for a file i was expecting from a friend and BOOM my eyes saw the headline of Charlotte Russe's email in my inbox. I told myself "just take a peek, it's probably just some basic stuff" but unfortunately (i would say), I saw HOT STUFF for even HOTTER PRICES. Check them out - $25 and below:

All the shoes below are from the clearance section and are 16.99 or less. I could not help stealing a look at the clearance, i mean who goes shopping anywhere(in-store or online) and does not look in the clearance section? Not me lol

To my favorite of them all:

Unfortunately my size is sold out. It was love at first site with this shoe. I will keep my eyes open for it. i like the black of it (above) too. The Jeffery Campbell's version of this retails for $178,

Fall 2014 Fashion Trends

Hello lovelies,

Stylediarybyosy is finally ready for fall and the only times there will be a post about summer in the next six months will be on a throwback post. My last post was a goodbye summer post and this is a Welcome to Fall (Autumn to some) post.
I have been in so many stores in the past month (just window shopping though lol) and i have noticed certain trends in almost everyone of them so here are some of the trends -

First up is the Plaid trend.
I specially love this trend. Plaid is so versatile and fashionable. You can rock it with basically anything. In styling some of the pieces here, i decided to focus on making it a student oriented style. Creating this gave me some inspirations for how i want my school fall wardrobe to look like. So needless to say, i might be recreating some of this looks on myself.

Next up is the Shirt Dress and Shift Dress Trend
This group is filled with items on my wishlist. I want some of these dresses so bad. These pieces are great transition pieces: from summer to fall and even to winter. all you have to do is to add some leggings or skinny jeans or some thigh high boots and you are safe in the winter. These can be worn casually with some flats or sneakers for a game night or they can be worn with heels for a more chic look for a lunch or dinner date.

This final picture contains different trends so i will take them one at a time
Trend #3 Top set:- The crop jackets and blazers: These one trend i am not sure i will wear but some of the blazers look so cute that i think you just might catch me in one sometime lol. This trend dominated some of the runways during the just concluded New York Fashion Week.

Trend #4 Middle set:- The cut out shoes(mainly booties): First, i have to say I am in LOVE with these shoes. There as so many styles and they are so cute. I really do not know what to write about them. I wore a wedge cut out today and i felt it's trendy effect on my whole outfit. They are very simple and so stylish. I am aware that a version of them have been around for a long time but what i specially love about these ones is that they have chunky heels and most of them have cap toes perfect for the fall.

Trend #5 bottom set:- The animal print (what i call jungle fashion): We all know this trend is not new but i added it to this list because even as old as it is, it has managed to stay valuable in everyone's wardrobe. Every time i clear out my closet to update my pieces to suit the new season, my animal print skirts and shoes always manage to stay unmoved even though some times they get pushed to the back of the closet. I just added some of the pieces i selected here to my to buy list and hopefully i will get them soon.

So, i know you might not like all of these trends or might have one you are head over heels in love with or you might know a trend that i did not mention, please feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below. As always, i look forward to reading your veiws.
Thanks for visiting,

Goodbye summer 2014

It's throwback thursday and i decided to put this post up to officially say my own goodbye Summer and hello Fall.
This is an outfit i wore sometime back. I have a great love affair with florals and bright colors and even in the fall, i will still find a way to add them to my wardrobe.

It was love at first sight with this 2 piece matching set from JcPenny. I was going through the store during one of my many window shopping trips earlier in the year.

I think this was the last time i wore these shoes this summer, i had to clean them and put them on  the shelf before i get sued for abuse. Everyone has that one or two pairs of shoes that needs a break lol.

No post is complete without my upclose face shot :).

Thanks for visiting and as always, i would love to read your comments.
