It's the last day of May and that means tomorrow is the first day of June (in case you didn't know lol). Just before the beginning of every month, I always think ahead to the special days like birthdays, anniversaries and holidays in regards to plans and especially gifts; and for the month of June, my main focus is on Fathers' Day. The day set aside for us to go the extra mile for the special men in our lives. This special appreciation can be extended to other men besides the ones we call Dad; I personally have quite a number of father figures in my life beside my Dad. these other fathers have earned the spot due to their influence in my life and especially my academic and spiritual growth.
For this post, I would like to focus on my Dad, one of the coolest I know. I am and will always be an unapologetic daddy's girl. So every year, I am always on the lookout for something special to get my dad for Fathers' day and so just while I was about to start my hunt for this year, I came upon Wewood watches. Take a look

The second I looked at the collection, I stopped searching for anything else - this was it. A wristwatch and a pair of sunglasses is always a good and safe choice any day but these are more than just a watch or sunglasses. They are wooden eco-friendly pieces: the watch is 100% natural wood and the glasses is cotton and wood. My dad is such a nature loving and probably the most eco-conscious person in my house (I try my best too) so I already know how much he would love these, especially when i tell him Wewood's slogan "You buy a WEWOOD, we plant a tree". The crazy and beautiful thing about that for me and my dad is the special memory that planting a tree brings. My late grandfather used to plant a tree at the birth of his grandchildren, and it was always a big deal when we go visit on holiday as every grandchild goes out to find the tree planted in his or her honor. Wow, I can't wait to go over that memory with my dad come fathers' day weekend. Another point is that my dad and I have a history with watches and the little portable radios(which are now extinct, thanks to iPods and phones with music lol). As a teenager, I used to "borrow" these items from his room, and he couldn't get me to leave his things alone until he finally got the idea to buy me mine. I loved his watches because they were big and bold-faced,they didn't fit but I wore them anyways; and as for the radio, I loved music and it was the only way I could listen to the evening countdown back then.
Well, moving on, I decided to get myself a few cool points by taking some pictures with the pieces.
Wewood is offering free shipping and a free pin removal tool (so you don't have to go to any store to get the watch resized) for every purchase. Just use promo code WWFD16
